Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire

After an early morning breakfast, you drive to Tarangire National Park with packed lunch for a game drive. This lovely park is home to the world’s greatest concentration of elephants and the most breeding bird birds. Tarangire National Park is teeming with wildlife, particularly during the dry season. Big cats like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as the Kudu, Oryx, and Gerenuk, Gazelles and many more animals seen. The Tarangire River attracts large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, as well as predators. You drive to Sangaiwe Lodge (Midrange) Tarangire Sopa Lodge (Luxury) for dinner and overnight later in the day.

Day 2: Full Day Tarangire

We leave our lodge after breakfast for the full day game drive at Tarangire National Park. The park is mostly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor and runs along the Tarangire River’s path. The natural flora consists mostly of Acacia forest and massive African Baobab trees, with large marsh areas in the south.

The Tarangire National Park is said to be home to some of Africa’s biggest elephant herds. During our game drive we will encounter different wildlife species like: Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, Elephants, Lions, Leopards and many bird species. We will have lunch break at the park headquarters where we open up our lunch boxes. Some relaxing moments with socialization from other guests.

In the even return to the juggle for the evening encounter with the main aim of encountering the nocturnal animals as well as some animals we missed in the morning. Return back to our lodge for dinner and overnight. Sangaiwe Lodge (Midrange) Tarangire Sopa Lodge (Luxury)

Day 3: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater

Wake up early for the healthy breakfast, after our picnic lunch is put in the car. We check out of the lodge and depart for Ngorongoro crater. This is one of the natural wonders of Africa with the highest concentration of predators. The drive is such a short drive that we enter to the Conservation area within morning hours. Have brief stop at the crater view point, you must come with good binoculars for you to explore the detailed aerial view of the crater. After that we drive to the crater entry point where we will descend down to the 600 meters deep crater. This is the largest broken caldera on planet earth. It hosts a large population of wildlife, we have a game drive to view big game like lions, Rhinos, leopards, Buffaloes, Elephants, Hippos, Hyenas, and many others.

After the game drive we ascend out of the crater and drive to Tarangire for overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Serengeti National Park.

After breakfast, you will check out and start the beautiful scenic drive to Serengeti. Here, lots of amazing wildlife to see as you drive to Serengeti national park. Check in our lodge for refreshments as we wait for dinner and overnight Serengeti Sopa lodge (Luxury) Serengeti Heritage tented camp (Midrange)

Day 5: Full day Serengeti (Central)

After breakfast, you depart for a full day game drive in the central part of the Serengeti. This part is famous for the abundance of lions and leopards that can usually be seen quite easily. Game viewing in this central area is spectacular all year round. Enjoy the views of endless plains and stunning wildlife like cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hippos, ostrich, pangolin, and many more. Retire back to our lodge later in the evening for dinner and overnight Serengeti Sopa lodge (Luxury) Serengeti Heritage tented camp (Midrange)

Day 6: Full day Serengeti (Central)

Another full day to explore the best of central Serengeti, this time we go to the different side where we did not go yesterday. We continue to search for more wildlife in the famous Seronera area. You will be warmly welcomed by the large population of lions, wildebeests, zebras, and ,many others. We visit different hippo pools, kopjes and other destinations across the central area. We have brief lunch break before you go back for the evening game drive to search for more game. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa lodge (Luxury) Serengeti Heritage tented camp (Midrange)

Day 7: Transfer to Northern Serengeti

After our breakfast, we check out of the lodge in central Serengeti and depart for the Northern Serengeti. We have en-route game drive as we head to the majestic Mara river where the climax of the wildebeest migration is witnessed. We reach at our lodge later in the evening check in and have a deep rest. Dinner and overnight at Kuria hills lodge (luxury)

Day 8: Full day Serengeti (Northern)

Have our breakfast served early, we then drive to the Mara river to lively witness the Wildebeest crossing. Depending on the year, its not accurately predictable as some times it starts in July while some years it starts in August. We will have a full day enjoyment as we witness the survival for the fittest happening as millions of the wildebeest and zebras jump in to the water. The roaring lions awaits on both sides of the river while the large Nile crocodiles also wait on the water. The experience is unique and much lifetime, after we retire back to our lodge for dinner and overnight. Kuria hills lodge (luxury)

Day 9: Transfer to Masai Mara

After early morning breakfast at your camp, check out with a packed lunch from your camp, and drive to the Tanzania-Kenya border. You will be met by our Kenya driver guide and transferred to the Masai Mara national Reserve. Drive to the lodge for checking in, have a refreshing afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge

Day 10: Full day Masai Mara

Before we head for today’s action in the middle of the juggle, have an early breakfast at the cabin. We’ll go far into the wilderness with parked lunch boxes to enjoy the fresh air of nature. Getting closer to the animals in their natural environment, where they can easily wander around searching for food. On our open-top safari car, we’ll be able to see a variety of animal and bird habitats. Lions, leopards, buffaloes, rhinos, elephants, hyenas, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, and other species are among them. Return to our lodge for a relaxing evening as we wait for our dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 11: Full day Masai Mara

Early breakfast is needed before embarking on a full-day game drive through the Masai Mara’s open plains in search of permanent residents such as lions, cheetahs, buffalos, oribi, giraffes, and other species. We spend more time in around Mara river to witness and accomplish the wildebeest migration. We will be on receiving side of the Mara river as we compare how the Wildebeest jumped on water from Serengeti and how they are crossing the river to Masai Mara national reserve. Return to our lodge for dinner and overnight in the evening.

Day 12: Transfer to Uganda (Entebbe to Kibale)

We unbelievably depart Masai Mara for Uganda as we now head to the primate world. Our flight will be early in the morning. The Ugandan driver guide will welcome you at the airport, warm greetings before we head to Kibale Forest national park. The scenic drive takes you through different small towns and plantations. Have lunch break en-route around Fort portal commonly known as the tourist city. After we then proceed to the chilly fresh rainforests to check in our lodge for dinner and overnight Primate lodge Kibale or Ndali Lodge

Day 13: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth

Set out with the driver guide after breakfast on an early morning, as he will transport you to the park headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, begin chimpanzee trekking through the rain forest, led by park rangers, at about 8:00 a.m.

Meeting chimps up close and watching them go through their everyday routines including playing, climbing, and feeding is always a thrilling and memorable experience. Other species such as gray cheeked mangabeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, and various birds can also be seen.

After Chimpanzee trekking, we return to the lodge for lunch and check out before beginning your 3-hour trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is home to a wide range of wildlife.

Day 14: Boat cruise and Transfer to Bwindi

After breakfast, we go for morning boat cruise at Kazinga channel. This is a refreshment of our long drives. The boat cruise is not only fun but gives you opportunity to see more water animals and birds. After the boat cruise we start your journey to Bwindi through the Ishasha area, where you can see climbing lions and a variety of other wildlife. You’ll get to see some beautiful scenery along the way. Take a break for lunch along the way and arrive at the park/lodge in the afternoon. Dinner will be served, as well as an overnight stay at Gorilla Mist Camp or Bakiga Lodge

Day 15: Gorilla tracking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After a hearty breakfast, you’ll grab your lunches and prepare to embark on a once-in-a-lifetime gorilla tracking adventure in this beautiful park. The trail you choose can reward you with thrilling encounters with giant mountain gorillas in Bwindi, as well as other primates that live in the jungle. Because of the gorillas’ movements, Gorilla trekking can take up to 8 hours or even a full day.

When you meet them, you will have a wonderful and interesting time seeing them, and you will only have one hour to do so. Make sure you have ample sunscreen, caps, sunglasses, raincoats, and non-flash cameras with you. After we then transfer to lake Bunyonyi for the refreshing afternoon and chilling evening. Day 16: Departure

After breakfast, depart for Kampala, stopping in Mbarara for lunch and a photo stop at the Equator, where you can also purchase souvenirs. Go on to Entebbe, where you can arrive in the late afternoon for your flight or over night stay.
