4-Day fly-in Gorilla Trekking Safari
Overview
The 4-Day fly-in Gorilla Trekking Safari is for those who have less time and want to trek gorillas in Uganda. It allows you to avoid long drives from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will be transferred from the airstrip (Kihihi) to your lodge by road. The highlight of this safari is the mountain gorillas that inhabit the forests of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This park is found in the Southwestern part of Uganda. This is in the districts of Kanungu, Kabale, and also Kisoro.
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to hotel
On this day of your 4-Day fly-in Gorilla Trekking Safari, you will be picked up by a Pamoja Tours and Travel guide. He will welcome you, brief you about your safari. Also, he will later transfer you to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Batwa cultural experience
Our guide will pick you and transfer you to Kajjansi airstrip. This is for your internal flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will land at Kihihi (For the north and Eastern parts of Bwindi NP)
Upon landing, our guide/vehicle will transfer you by road to your respective overnight Lodge.
You will check in at your lodge, have lunch and later a bit of relaxation as you prepare to go for the Batwa cultural experience. You will have a chance to see their day-to-day lifestyle. Also you will see their long ancient history with the forest and also they will entertain you.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and community visit.
Early morning, breakfast with your packed lunch. You will report to the Park headquarters for registration and join other trackers. In briefing about the dos and also don’ts during your Gorilla trekking at 7:45 am. You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas, which can also take you half an hour to three-quarters of the day.
The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. It is also an extraordinary feeling being with these beautiful yet dangerous Creatures.
You will also have a reward of a Gorilla trekking Certificate on this day.
In the afternoon after lunch, you will go for a community village walk to discover the unique way of living of the community people. They originally used to live in the forests before the area was also reserved as a national park. After this, you will go back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Fly back to Entebbe
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and later our guide will transfer you to Kihihi airstrip for your internal flight back to Kajjansi airstrip where you will also be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your flight back home.
