Adere Safari Lodge is a mid-range accommodation located right next to Lokumoit gate, in the southern part of Kidepo Valley national park. It is in the north-eastern part of Uganda in where you meet the true African wilderness of the remote Kidepo Valley national park. Driving through the vast Savannah, you get to see a number of wildlife species that blow take you to another level of adventure. A sunset dinner at the lodge ensures you a cool environment that is clear and free from the noise of the cities. An early morning game watch of the sunrise will give you a reward of the morning risers (Lions) coming from their hunt.
Right from the entrance which is guarded by very old big stones, one can see the magnificent Kidepo Valley National Park sceneries. Therefore the Lodge aims to create a rendezvous that caters to both local and foreign tourists and anyone who wishes to meet in a setting that is both conducive for business and intimate social gatherings.
The lodge works on solar power and on generator as back up. Power is 220v and the plugs are 3 pin square (UK Plug) 24 hrs via an inverter solar system.

The lodge has a total of 20 stand-alone chalet cottages that overlook the swimming pool extending to the views of the wilderness. The guests stay in grass thatched private rooms with large wooden balconies that give you a stunning 360º view.

Adere Safari Lodge welcomes children of all ages to enjoy the lodge as well. But the lodge being in a national park, parents are to be with them all the time to ensure safety and surveillance. They can utilize the swimming pool at all times of the day to cool off due to the hot temperatures.
Restaurant and meals
The restaurant offers satisfying meals beginning with breakfast, lunch as well as dinner. The lodge also has a mini-bar offering drinks like wines, enjoyed by the guests while resting at the pool. This is done in the evening after a long day of game viewing in the wilderness.
Location
The Adere lies on the rugged, semi-arid Kidepo rocks estimated to be more than 1,000 years old. Although deep in the Semi-desert, the dazzling Adere Safari Lodge sits in green scenery, built on rocks. It spreads like a white sheet in Kalukudo village, Lokori Sub-county in Karenga District, in Karamoja sub-region. It is just a 5 minutes drive in the park.
