The resort has over 26 rooms that generally spick and span, with good natural light through large glass doors. Each of these rooms has got a balcony and a few comfortable deckchairs, with Twin or Queen-sized beds. These rooms feature a foldaway mosquito net and decent linens, bathrooms with single basins, toilets and hot showers. All the rooms and facilities are overlooking Lake Kivu and have access to the lush and well maintained gardens.

How to reach the resort
By Bus, it takes you upto 6 – 7 Hours (260km) to reach Emeraude Kivu Resort from Kigali International Airport. This is the cheapest means and you get an opportunity to see alot of beautiful sceneries on your way.
You can board a bus at Nyabugogo in Kigali and drop off at the Rusizi bus station. Then you take a motorbike from the bus station to the resort or hire a special “car”.
