3 Days Gorilla Trekking safari & Lake Bunyonyi relaxation to Uganda starts with the pick up by our driver guide and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Encounter the Gorillas first-hand on your trekking expedition. With strenuous day trekking, it would be ideal to find a better place for relaxation. That place will certainly be Lake Bunyonyi – a place of little birds. You will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi after the gorilla trekking. Enjoy a swim in the Lake before a return to Entebbe International Airport.

 

Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe International Airport and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park

On this day, you will be picked up by one of our professional driver guides from Entebbe International Airport and embark on your exciting 3-day gorilla trekking adventure to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

The drive will take you to Southwestern Uganda to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will arrive in Bwindi and check into your accommodation and relax as you prepare for the Bwindi gorilla trekking experience the next day.

Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After an early breakfast and a briefing by a ranger guide, you will enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure. The beauty of this rain forest is spectacular! The area offers a dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. Once you locate a gorilla group, you will be allowed only one hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savored.

Return to your lodge. Check out for a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi is the deepest lake in Uganda and second largest in Africa. It is also crocodile /hippo and bilharzia free making it suitable and safe for swimming.

On arrival, you may have a short nature walk/swimming before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3. Transfer to the airport with a stop-over at the Equator

On this day, you will have a relaxed breakfast then you will go for a boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi is framed by lush, green-terraced hills that reach a height of (2,200 – 2,478m) but it’s the 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water that make it most magical — you could admire them all day. While on the boat cruise, expect to see various bird species such as herons, grey crowned cranes and others in addition to the beautiful islands.

Thereafter, you will check out of your lodge and then set off for Entebbe International Airport. On your way, you will stop-over at the Equator for photos and souvenirs. Thereafter, you will be dropped off at the airport in time for your flight.
